Meet the Principal
Mrs. Elizabeth Kleber - Study Elementary School
From a young age, I wanted to be an educator. I used to organize my books like a library and would teach anyone who was a willing participant. I taught middle school science and math for fifteen years during which time I also served as a team leader. Leading teachers and collaborating with the building leaders solidified a desire to serve in an administrative position. I have served as an assistant principal and a principal for the past twenty-two years.
As a principal, I have the opportunity to support teachers, learners, and families as we build a learning community.
Study is a small neighborhood school which is dedicated to inspiring students as readers, writers, and thinkers. We work together and support each other to make sure the children continue to grow. Our goal is for each child to know he or she is important and loved and to help him or her to gain the knowledge and skills to be able to meet their goals.
I would like people to know that my goal is to be of service to the children, their families, and the teachers and staff in the service of student growth and development.
I enjoy hiking and kayaking, reading, exploring both cities and natural places, and being with my family.
